Bilingual BrightStars Navigator — ext. 308

Dilcia Perdomo, Bilingual BrightStars Navigator, has been in the field for more than 12 years.  Before coming to RIAEYC/BrightStars, Dilcia worked as a Bilingual Family Child Care Case Manager Child & Adult Care Food Program for Children’s Friend offering technical assistance and support to family child care providers through regular home as well as providing and created opportunities to educate individual and group training for the CACFP. Dilcia has been involved in her community through voluntary work and serving as part of a community organizations. It has been one of her greatest satisfactions to be working with the with the community.

In BrightStars, Dilcia has the opportunity to continue her work in the community, as a Bilingual BrigthStars Navigator, as the primary contact for assigned programs, complete assessment feedback visits to programs, also support programs in developing quality improvement plans according to BrightStars requirements. Ensure program compliance with requirements for timeliness of plan submission. Work with programs to maintain/increase star rating. Offer and provide resource referral support to programs, review program progress. Dilcia has achieved author-level reliability on in the Infant/ Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS).

Dilcia holds a bachelor’s degree in Arts from the University of Rhode Island.
