Jennifer Gentile

A lifelong Rhode Islander, Jennifer has many years of experience in the field of early childhood education in our state. Most of Jennifer’s previous experience has been in the classroom setting where she was a Lead Preschool Teacher for over a decade. During her time spent in the classroom Jennifer especially enjoyed integrating yoga, kindness,  and multisensory experiences into the curriculum for her students daily.  In her most recent role prior to joining RIAEYC/Brightsars Jen held an administrative position as the Assistant Director of an early learning center serving 55 children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Jennifer is certified in the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards ( RIELDS ) at both the Classroom Level and the Program Level. She holds a B.A. degree in Psychology, with a focus on developmental psychology, from Rhode Island College. Jen is currently a graduate student at Salve Regina University where she is studying Holistic Leadership.
